When Gregory Porter met Natty’s
Last week brought something truly unforgettable to our little spot in Bournemouth: not one, but two surprise visits from the legendary Gregory Porter and his phenomenal band! 🔥
Anyone who knows us knows we don’t usually open on Tuesdays in Bournemouth… but something told us to open the doors. And guess what? We shot our shot, and they actually showed up! 🤷🏾♂️
Before we knew it, Gregory and the band were right there in our jerk kitchen, sipping on our famous Duppy Share rum punch and sampling a likkle bit of everything from the menu. Jerk chicken, jerk jackfruit – curry goat, plant’in, fried dumplins’…. you name it, they tasted it. 💚💛❤️
And here’s the part that blew us away: they LOVED it. So much so, in fact, that they invited our whole team to their show at the BIC in Bournemouth – and gave us the biggest shoutout on stage. 🥹 It was definitely surreal. A real “pinch-me” moment.
We’re still buzzing from the experience and feeling so incredibly grateful. To Gregory Porter and his amazing band – thank you for trusting us to feed you. You’ve got fans (and friends) for life here.
